Role Summary
The Communications Specialist will take charge of crafting and implementing UAS International Trip Support's internal and external communication strategies. This position is vital to boosting brand presence, ensuring consistent corporate messaging, facilitating media and public relations efforts, and generating polished content across diverse communication platforms. The role requires close collaboration with leadership and key departments to guarantee alignment with business goals, corporate principles, and brand guidelines.
Primary Duties
- Create ghost-written opinion editorials, bylines, and feature articles for senior leaders, including the CEO, VPs, and vertical heads, placing them in prominent business aviation publications such as AvBuyer, BJTOnline, Corporate Jet Investor, AIN Online, Arabian Aerospace, and Business Airport International.
- Design and conduct primary industry research in partnership with reputable research firms (e.g., YouGov, Kantar, Statista) and aviation trade media to add credibility and widen UAS’s branded insights.
- Convert research findings into branded white papers, industry reports, and data-driven content to support PR, account-based marketing (ABM), and sales enablement activities.
- Develop ABM-focused content packages including one-pagers, vertical-specific presentations, customized landing pages, and sequenced email campaigns directed at key Trip Support and Charter accounts.
- Collaborate with Sales and SDR teams to customize messaging according to account profiles, personas, and sales funnel stages; monitor engagement with ABM assets and integrate feedback to refine content strategy.
- Plan and implement public relations campaigns to strengthen brand recognition, media presence, and corporate reputation across US and GCC regions.
- Coordinate with media contacts and external partners to facilitate press releases, media briefings, interviews, and trade media features.
- Maintain and update an editorial calendar featuring leadership perspectives, relevant themes, and foundational topics; oversee speaking opportunities, award nominations, and conference participation for senior leaders.
- Track and analyze media coverage, share of voice, and PR effectiveness, compiling quarterly reports for management review.
- Research trends, market developments, regulations, and competitor activities to identify communication opportunities.
- Create internal communications including newsletters, leadership updates, and change management messages; encourage employee advocacy on LinkedIn by sharing external thought leadership internally.
- Support communications during sensitive or crisis situations ensuring all messaging is accurate, timely, and aligned with company policies.
- Ensure all messaging across channels is consistent with UAS's brand identity, tone, and corporate communication standards.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Operations, Sales, Charter, Trip Support, and Design to gather information and develop content supporting cross-departmental initiatives.
Educational and Professional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, or content creation.
- Proven ability to develop content for digital, social media, internal, and external communication platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling capabilities with great attention to detail.
- Experience with media relations, public relations operations, and content management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital communication tools, social media platforms, and analytics.
- Prior experience in aviation, travel, hospitality, or international service industries is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adhere to deadlines.
