About the Role
Joulé is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join their team in Inglewood, California. This contract position requires the coordinator to work fully onsite, dedicating 40 hours per week. The coordinator will play a vital role in managing clinical research studies while complying with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and execution of clinical research protocols under guidance from the principal investigator and senior research personnel.
- Conduct participant screening visits, gathering medical histories and related information.
- Help facilitate the informed consent process and participant enrollment aligned with protocols and ethical guidelines.
- Organize and schedule study visits, procedures, and follow-ups with both participants and clinical teams.
- Accurately collect and maintain clinical data and supporting documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Engage with participants to offer education, address inquiries, and encourage study adherence.
- Track study progression and promptly communicate adverse events, deviations, or other relevant issues to the research team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher in health-related fields is desirable.
- Prior experience with participant screening and informed consent procedures is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture tools, clinical trial management systems, and Microsoft Office suite is advantageous.
- Current CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
- Certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator (e.g., CCRC) or willingness to obtain certification is preferred.

Compensation
The role offers hourly pay ranging from $26 to $30 per hour.
