Role Overview

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) position is a full-time, remote opportunity tasked with managing the daily operations of an enterprise specializing in video editing services. The COO ensures the seamless delivery of high-quality services by overseeing operational planning, setting performance targets, and coordinating activities across editing teams, project managers, and client service personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Set performance metrics and monitor operational key performance indicators to uphold quality and turnaround time standards.
• Enhance processes and implement tools and systems that support scalable growth.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, financial planning, and resource allocation.
• Foster a productive organizational culture and contribute to long-term business expansion.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in business planning and formulating operational roadmaps aligned with strategic goals.
• Demonstrable experience in managing operations, optimizing workflows, and leading teams in a service-oriented context.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data and KPIs to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
• Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and managing operating budgets to support sustainable growth.
• Background or familiarity with media or creative industries, particularly video production or post-production, is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities, especially for effective collaboration in a fully remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or related discipline; advanced degrees or equivalent leadership experience are favorable.
