Job description
Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Catering Supervisor who is deeply passionate about delivering outstanding food and customer service experiences. This full-time position is based in Galway, County Galway, Ireland, requiring 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday during daytime hours. As a Catering Supervisor, you'll oversee catering and service operations within Compass Group Ireland, ensuring seamless kitchen and service counter activity while providing memorable culinary experiences.
Key Duties
- Oversee preparation of high-quality food adhering to excellent standards.
- Lead and manage culinary and catering teams to consistently deliver superior food and service.
- Maintain ongoing communication with management to track key performance indicators and set targets.
- Uphold and promote the Compass Group UK&I brand positively across all engagements.
- Act as liaison between clients and catering teams to exceed expectations continually.
- Provide leadership, support, and training to employees, fostering excellence in every role.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are implemented and reviewed across all catering and service activities for compliance.
Candidate Profile
- Strong enthusiasm for exemplary food quality and customer service.
- At least two years of experience in catering operations.
- Proven team management capabilities in similar supervisory roles.
- Possession of a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Motivated and goal-oriented with a desire for ongoing professional growth.
