Role Summary
We are inviting enthusiastic individuals for the position of Catering Assistant based at Castle View School in Canvey Island (postcode SS8 7FH). This full-time role entails working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm for 37 weeks per year, aligning with school terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the catering team to deliver friendly, efficient, and hygienic food service.
- Assist with the preparation of food items and snacks at the site.
- Serve customers at the counter and manage till operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in kitchen and dining spaces continuously.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will showcase strong customer service abilities, preferably with experience in catering or retail, though this is not mandatory. The focus is on providing excellent food that clients and consumers enjoy.
