About the Role

Join an innovative venture transforming grocery shopping in the MENA region. The Amazon Now Saudi Arabia team is seeking a driven individual to build a new business from scratch, managing complex operational, technical, and business elements. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead relationships with vendors, curate selection, manage category profitability, optimize pricing, and develop your team.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive buying and sourcing strategy for a new category.
  • Support category leadership in launching new strategic business initiatives.
  • Negotiate and finalize vendor relationships, terms of trade, and operating contracts.

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve metrics like selection, profitability, pricing, and availability.
  • Own the profit and loss responsibility to meet revenue and cost targets; collaborate with vendors, operations, and advertising teams to drive profitability projects.
  • Refine product assortments at the dark store level to reduce losses and improve customer experience.
  • Secure deals during key sales events to provide continuous value to Prime customers.
  • Negotiate marketing funds for category visibility throughout regular operations and special events.
  • Prepare and close annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with partners.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience proficient in Excel.
  • At least 5 years in retail, operations, product or program management, consulting, or business management including negotiation and delivery of results.
