Position Overview
We are recruiting experienced Case Managers to join our specialized Workers’ Compensation Nominal Insurer team. The role involves managing a range of workers’ compensation claims, ensuring a high standard of empathetic service to injured employees, and collaborating closely with employers and service providers to facilitate safe and effective return-to-work outcomes within regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of workers’ compensation claims within the Nominal Insurer scheme, ensuring all outcomes for injured workers and employers are compliant, timely, and effective.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of workers’ compensation laws to assess claim liability, coordinate treatments, and support safe return-to-work programs.
- Collaborate proactively with employers, injured workers, healthcare providers, rehabilitation teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver customer-centric claims management.
- Ensure claim records and documentation are accurate and meet all regulatory, contractual and audit standards.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment focused on development, quality outcomes, and shared success.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in managing workers’ compensation claims with a solid grasp of relevant legislation and statutory processes.
- Excellent relationship management and influence skills, supported by clear verbal and written communication.
- A customer-focused outlook prioritizing positive results for injured workers, employers, and stakeholders.
- Resilient and able to exercise sound judgement in complex or sensitive claim situations.
- Strong organisational capabilities, effectively juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- A proactive learner with a growth mindset who thrives in collaborative team environments.
