Training Program

• The approximately one-year training program gradually teaches you all necessary skills for this profession.
• Combining theoretical lessons with practical experience ensures you both learn and apply knowledge actively.
• Experienced colleagues mentor you to facilitate successful entry even if you are new to the field.
• Theoretical instruction is organized close to your residence, while practical assignments mostly occur in your intended work area.
• From the start, you will receive a secure salary during training.

Key Duties After Training

• Collaborate within a team to ensure the safety of all personnel at track construction sites.
• Warn employees working on or near tracks using various signals and modern warning systems about approaching trains.
• Enforce safety protocols and provide training to new safety personnel on-site.
• Communicate effectively with different stakeholders to maintain smooth operations.
• Independently organize and oversee the implementation of safety measures on construction sites.

Desired Profile

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and hold a secondary school (Hauptschule) diploma or equivalent.
• No prior specialized experience is required; however, candidates should be committed to ensuring safety and dependable in their role.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
• Proficient in German communication, both spoken and written.
• Flexible regarding night shifts, weekend work, and changing job locations.
• Possession of a class B driving license and personal vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
