Cafe Team Member

Role Overview

Join our café team to help create enjoyable experiences for every customer each day. This role involves a mixture of food preparation, engaging customer service, and maintaining a clean and orderly environment. You'll be part of a lively, dynamic setting with flexible hours, career progression potential, and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours weekly. Shift schedules are communicated three weeks in advance with opportunities for flexible arrangements based on your availability. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Deliver prompt, efficient, and courteous service to customers.
• Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards and keep daily records.
• Implement FIFO stock rotation to preserve food freshness.
• Manage deliveries and store food safely.
• Comply with all operational policies and procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and serve menu items accurately and safely.
• Ensure all food products meet quality standards and are fully stocked.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu and serve items as intended.
• Handle customer complaints and escalate issues to the Café Manager as needed.
• Stay updated with company communications and new initiatives.
• Clear and sanitize tables to maintain a tidy café environment.
