Role Summary
The Business Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in managing financial governance, excelling in procurement, and enhancing operational performance within Infrastructure Services. The position bridges financial oversight, cloud cost management, and operational analytics to optimize expenditures, boost efficiency, and facilitate informed decision-making across traditional and cloud technology landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end financial management including budgeting, forecasting, planning, and cash flow optimization.
- Ensure strict compliance with financial controls, regulations, and governance policies.
- Produce monthly and quarterly financial reports, delivering insights to senior leadership for strategic direction.
- Maintain precise forecast accuracy to enable optimal resource allocation.
- Manage cloud spending across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms, aligning with budgets and business goals.
- Implement FinOps methodologies such as cost allocation, tagging, showback/chargeback, and consumption tracking.
- Monitor cloud usage to identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce inefficiencies.
- Work with engineering and infrastructure teams to appropriately size resources and balance cloud cost with performance.
- Set up governance frameworks for cloud financial controls including spending limits, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Assist in vendor negotiations and optimize commercial terms for cloud services contracts and renewals.
- Integrate cloud financial data into enterprise dashboards to enhance leadership visibility.
- Oversee procurement lifecycle across technology domains such as Network, IaaS, Storage, Backup, and Core Systems.
- Review quotations, lead contract negotiations, and collaborate with the central procurement office to maximize cost efficiencies.
- Manage purchase orders, contract execution, and vendor performance evaluations.
- Drive initiatives to reduce costs in hardware, software, maintenance, and professional services.
- Track project financials and milestones to ensure budget compliance and timely delivery.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting for stakeholder alignment and transparency.
- Enhance operational scalability through monitoring key performance indicators and structured reporting mechanisms.
- Analyze financial and operational data to uncover inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Develop and sustain dashboards and consolidated reports to support data-driven management decisions.
- Achieve 100% renewal efficiency via process refinement and reduce manual reporting efforts by approximately 40%.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including central procurement, accounts payable, financial controls, group finance, and technical teams to align financial and operational objectives.
- Manage invoice processing and payment cycles ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely execution.

Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in financial operations, procurement, or related business operations within banking or technology sectors.
- Solid understanding of financial management in infrastructure services.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related discipline; preference for a master’s degree.
