About the Role
Randstad Digital New Zealand is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead growth and boost market share within the IT asset lifecycle sector. This position offers a hybrid work setting based in Silverdale, Auckland, blending remote work with on-site presence. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer / NZ General Manager, this full-time role centers on expanding sales of IT asset lifecycle services and Managed Service solutions through both direct customer engagement and partnering with channel collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve margin and revenue goals by executing well-planned quarterly business strategies.
- Oversee governance, financial reporting, and SLA/KPI performance for assigned client accounts to surpass expectations.
- Maintain a high volume of client interactions, including meetings and outbound outreach, while ensuring precise tracking of opportunities, pipelines, and campaigns in Salesforce CRM.
- Work closely with senior sales leadership on organizational planning, product innovation, market analysis, and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Lead tender management from contract acquisition through successful delivery, liaising across internal departments.
- Collaborate with Service Delivery teams to guarantee excellence in commissioning activities such as imaging, asset tagging, refurbishment, and data wiping, ensuring pricing and invoicing accuracy.
- Strictly adhere to international standards and internal policies concerning Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety, and Information Security (ISO/R2 frameworks).
Candidate Profile
- Deep knowledge of advanced sales methodologies and managing complex, comprehensive sales cycles.
- Proven background in sales and marketing within the IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) or IT Managed Services industry is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Technologically proficient, especially in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and pay meticulous attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, as business needs require.
