Overview
We seek an energetic and goal-oriented Business Development Executive to discover new business prospects, cultivate strong client partnerships, and stimulate revenue growth in the transport sector. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, customer-centric approach, and proven ability to convert potential leads into long-lasting customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads through on-site visits, cold calling, email outreach, networking, and market research efforts.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with both current and potential clients.
- Regularly secure orders and act as an intermediary between transport providers and traffic points of contact to ensure appropriate vehicle allocation.
- Understand clients' requirements pertaining to Full Truck Load (FTL) services.
- Negotiate payment terms including Advance to Hold (ATH) and Back to Hold (BTH), finalizing deals to meet sales targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and marketing teams to facilitate smooth client onboarding and execution.
- Maintain up-to-date sales activity tracking and CRM database management.
- Analyze market dynamics, monitor competitor actions, and gather client feedback.
- Conduct consistent client visits to enhance relationships and boost business volume.
- Manage follow-ups on pending payments to secure timely collection.
