The Workforce Intelligence Lab is a nonprofit entity advancing workforce intelligence via original research, publications, academic partnerships, fellowships, grants, and institutional collaborations.

Collaborations include multiple universities, faculty, research scientists, industry experts, and analytical partners, focusing on workforce economics, labor market forecasting, infrastructure workforce capacity, compensation intelligence, construction workforce trends, labor shortages, hiring competition, and workforce planning risks.

The AlphaHire Research Library consolidates workforce studies, market intelligence data, executive briefings, white papers, and industry research designed to enhance business and investment decision-making.

Role Overview

AlphaHire seeks experienced business development leaders to originate and cultivate relationships with senior executives. This role is highly autonomous and performance-driven, suited for individuals with an established executive network and proven ability to generate new enterprise business. Candidates may come from enterprise SaaS, consulting, professional services, market intelligence, construction, infrastructure, energy, private equity, data analytics, or strategic partnerships.

You will not conduct workforce research yourself but focus on identifying qualified leads, engaging executive stakeholders, understanding business challenges, and advancing opportunities to signed commitments. Support will be provided by AlphaHire leadership and research specialists for briefings, demonstrations, proposals, and solution design.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new enterprise relationships within your existing industry network
• Engage senior executives such as CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CHROs, business-unit presidents, operating partners, investment teams, developers, and project leaders
• Identify projects, investments, expansions, acquisitions, bids, or growth initiatives influenced by workforce capacity
• Lead consultative business development discussions centered on risk, capacity, growth, and investment outcomes
• Qualify executive decisions, business impact, timelines, stakeholders, and commercial opportunities
• Position AlphaHire as a trusted partner in workforce intelligence and execution risk
• Coordinate with internal leadership and research experts on executive briefings, demos, proposals, and commercial strategy
• Maintain detailed records of accounts, contacts, opportunities, and activities
• Advance qualified opportunities through enterprise buying cycles
• Assist in negotiating and closing AlphaHire Intelligence engagements
• Represent AlphaHire professionally with approved positioning and materials

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven track record of directly originating new B2B or enterprise revenue
• Experience selling complex solutions to senior executives or investment professionals
• Existing relevant relationships within at least one of AlphaHire’s target markets
• Strong executive presence with ability to conduct credible, business-oriented dialogues
• Skill in navigating multi-stakeholder enterprise purchasing decisions
• Capability to translate business challenges into intelligence or decision-support engagements
• Highly disciplined pipeline management, follow-through, and accountability
• Comfortable working independently without reliance on inbound leads, large SDR teams, or close supervision
• Willingness to adhere to approved positioning, confidentiality, account registration, and CRM policies
• Acceptance of a commission-only, independent contractor payment arrangement

Experience in selling data, analytics, research, advisory services, market intelligence, enterprise software, due diligence, risk analysis, or executive decision-support solutions is especially valued.
