Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets using diverse tools and technologies to extract meaningful information.
- Convert raw data into actionable business insights and ensure accessibility for global stakeholders.
- Utilize data to support recommendations, influence outcomes, and develop intuitive data presentations.
- Investigate root causes, identify trends and patterns, and assess their impact on business operations.
- Create models, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate analyzed data effectively.
- Implement generative AI technologies to enhance analytics efficiency and impact.
- Collaborate with product owners to understand key business questions and develop responsive reports.
- Manage multiple priorities in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Contribute actively within an agile team on high-visibility initiatives and projects.
A Typical Day
As a Business Analyst, you will design analytic solutions to conduct detailed investigations, evaluate operational health, and measure business impacts. You will own large dataset architecture and management. Your responsibilities will include dataset creation, reporting, dashboard development, metadata modeling, and pipelines monitoring. Collaboration with program and product owners and technical teams will enable you to gather requirements and build scalable data solutions. Promoting best practices, optimizing query performance, and translating insights into actionable business recommendations will be part of your daily work.
Team Overview
Our team supports partners in reaching customers efficiently both locally and globally. The Customer and Partner Trust Shared Services Analytics team is expanding to enhance seller experience, detect risks and trends, minimize investigation errors, improve customer satisfaction, and forecast optimizations.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax, finance, or related analytical fields.
- At least 3 years of expertise in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots) and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
- 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience.
- Proven ability to define requirements and derive insights from data and metrics.
- Experience influencing stakeholders through business recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative disciplines.
- Experience in data mining, ETL processes, and handling large, complex datasets in business environments.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as SQL, Python, R or statistical software including R, SAS, Matlab.
- Skillful in developing business metrics and familiarity with visualization platforms like Tableau, PowerBI, or Quicksight.
- Strong communication skills to present analytical findings to technical and business stakeholders.
