Business Analyst - Business Process Management

Overview

This position seeks a Business Analyst specializing in Business Process Management to work at Capgemini Engineering in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The role focuses on managing business data, optimizing supply chain processes, and supporting various analytical and governance functions. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, Excel, and programming skills in Python and SQL are essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and maintenance of databases that include information on pricing, commercial terms, and lead times.
• Analyze data trends and compliance gaps to promote adherence and corrective actions.
• Generate detailed reports and presentations to support governance and analytics across the supply chain and other departments.
• Keep supply chain tools updated with current data according to scheduled timelines.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives within the supply chain domain.
• Design and implement cross-functional supply chain processes; create templates, playbooks, and knowledge management resources.
• Utilize Microsoft Suite and SAP S/4HANA Procure-to-Pay module to maintain and optimize relevant tools and portals.
• Develop automated reporting scripts and carry out troubleshooting, testing, and execution coordination for system improvements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least one year of professional experience in analytics, business analysis, procurement, and/or supply chain management.
• Proficient in SAP S/4HANA, particularly the Procure-to-Pay module, and data visualization platforms like Power BI and Visio.
• Strong analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and interpretation.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to drive actionable outcomes.
• Programming skills, especially in Python and SQL, and familiarity with tools such as GIT, Azure, and Knime are advantageous.
• Experience in process mapping and continuous process improvement.
• Capability to work independently and manage projects efficiently.
• Fluency in English for both written and oral communication.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills are beneficial.
