Job Overview
This role supports the school bus driver to ensure student safety and comfort during transportation. The bus monitor helps regulate student behavior on the bus, manages boarding and seating processes, and keeps accurate records related to bus operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the bus driver by maintaining student discipline while the bus is running.
- Keep proper documentation and records as required.
- Assist students with boarding, unloading, and arranging seating as needed.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Strong communication abilities and sound judgment skills are essential.
- Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
