Role Overview
We are seeking a Broadcast Operations Executive to join our media playout operations team, focusing on providing support for radio broadcasts and monitoring digital TV transmissions over IP networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee television and radio channel transmissions to ensure that programs, advertisements, and updates are broadcasted accurately.
- Verify broadcast signals, playlists, subtitles, and on-screen text to maintain correctness before and during live transmissions.
- Insert scheduled radio traffic advisories, headline updates, and other programmed content as required.
- Monitor Free-to-Air broadcasts on the meWATCH platform and promptly report any issues in transmission.
- Perform initial recovery procedures during broadcast interruptions and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possess a Diploma in any relevant discipline or alternatively have a minimum of two years of relevant work experience if without formal education qualifications.
- No prior broadcast experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Comfortable operating computer systems and following standardized checklists and procedures.
- Willing to work in rotating shifts that include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin communication skills, supporting Mandarin language broadcast operations.
