Overview

The Branch Manager at JD Logistics in Saudi Arabia plays a pivotal leadership role overseeing the management and daily operations of service outlets, driving team development, and expanding market presence. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of business objectives while fostering localization of the JoyExpress brand across last-mile delivery, customer management, and revenue growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute annual operational plans and budget forecasts, monitoring key performance indicators such as on-time deliveries for same-day and next-day services.
• Lead and manage local teams comprising couriers, drivers, and customer service representatives, emphasizing training, performance reviews, and talent growth to support Saudization goals.
• Oversee risk management by enforcing compliance with safety protocols, managing emergency situations, and maintaining strong partnerships with governmental bodies like the Saudi Transport and Logistics Services Ministry.
• Optimize workforce utilization to minimize labor costs through effective staff management and accurate forecasting of volume and hiring needs.
• Ensure timely updating of reports and monitoring staff attendance records.
• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations including inbound/outbound shipments, last-mile delivery, and returns handling.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as HR, Finance, Fleet Management, and Customer Service to ensure seamless station operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or management fields.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in operations management with a track record of leading teams of 10 or more.
• Experience in cross-border e-commerce or familiarity with Middle Eastern markets is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Arabic required.
