Bid Coordinator

About the Role

A prominent multi-disciplinary construction firm with a growing presence across Ireland and Europe is seeking a Bid Coordinator based in Kildare. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the complete bid management lifecycle, supporting business expansion particularly in sectors like data centres, pharmaceuticals, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of leading and managing all bid activities within the organisation.
• Identify business opportunities by monitoring public tenders.
• Supervise the entire tender process including approval workflows, completion of Supplier Assessment Questionnaires (SAQs), pre-qualification documentation, and submission of quality and commercial proposals.
• Ensure timely production and submission of tender documents, strictly adhering to deadlines.
• Maintain oversight of opportunities through tender portals such as eTenders.
• Continuously develop and enhance tender proposals, brochures, qualifications, and presentations.
• Manage the company's social media presence and website upkeep.
• Establish and regularly update tender tracking systems and related performance metrics.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of post-graduate professional experience.
• Proven ability as a motivated bid writer capable of leading and securing contract wins.
• Strong communication, organisational, and management competencies.
• Experience collaborating with technical experts and engineers.
• Effective working methods that balance teamwork and self-driven initiative.
• Track record of handling complex projects involving multiple stakeholders within tight deadlines.
• Previous experience in Consulting Engineering or similar environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with public sector tender submissions is an asset.
