Position Overview
This role transcends simple drink preparation to crafting exceptional and memorable guest experiences. Bartenders here keep abreast of current trends and local specialties while anticipating the evolving preferences of guests. They serve not only as beverage experts but also as hosts who engage guests warmly, extending their care beyond the bar area itself.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the bar is impeccably maintained and operates smoothly at all times.
- Build and nurture relationships across hotel teams and with the local community to meet guest expectations.
- Provide attentive and personalized guest service that reflects the brand's commitment to excellence.
- Maintain precision in handling monetary transactions and sharing accurate and helpful information with patrons.
- Monitor and uphold the quality of all drinks served.
- Adhere to company policies for a safe and professional workplace including dress code and appearance standards.
- Physically, the job requires prolonged standing, walking, sitting, and manual handling of objects up to 25 pounds, including reaching and bending.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification is a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in bartending or a related service role.
- No supervisory experience is needed.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.
