Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and dependable AutoCAD Designer to join our team based in Carrigadrohid, County Cork. This on-site position involves office-based work combined with field visits to client sites for consultation and data collection to create precise designs. Strong communication skills are essential to liaise effectively with a broad range of clients including council engineers and community groups. While prior playground industry experience is not necessary, excellent design capabilities are expected, with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Design playgrounds adhering strictly to EN1176 safety standards.
- Create 3D models of playgrounds to provide clients with realistic visualizations.
- Develop comprehensive project presentations for prospective customers.
- Monitor the eTenders platform and prepare tender submissions punctually.
- Engage with clients from community organizations and councils to identify their requirements.
- Address queries from installation teams relying on your drawings for construction.
- Gain in-depth knowledge and become an expert in playground design.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years AutoCAD design experience, preferably within the construction sector.
- Proficient with 3D modelling software such as Blender or similar tools.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to gather client requirements and deliver tailored playground designs.
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Capability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A motivation to learn about playground construction and develop expertise in the field.
- Possession of a valid full Irish Driving Licence.
