Job description
Overview
We are seeking an Associate Planning Lead to oversee planning and scheduling for extensive data center construction projects. The role demands ensuring projects finish on time, within budget, and uphold high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project scheduling activities utilizing Primavera P6 and MS Project to develop and maintain detailed project timelines.
- Coordinate efforts among contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to monitor progress and pinpoint critical path tasks.
- Track project milestones, analyze deviations from the schedule, and implement corrective strategies to avoid delays.
- Compile and present progress reports and forecasts for senior management and client stakeholders, emphasizing risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and construction teams to integrate MEP systems, structural elements, and mission-critical infrastructure specific to data centers.
- Conduct weekly schedule review meetings to align all project partners and trade collaborators.
- Optimize resource allocation, including manpower and equipment scheduling, to enhance overall productivity.
- Perform schedule risk assessments and develop contingency plans for complex, phased construction timelines.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Minimum five years’ experience in construction project planning, preferably focused on data centers, mission-critical facilities, or sizable commercial developments.
- Advanced skills in Primavera P6 and MS Project are essential.
- Strong capabilities in analytical thinking, clear communication, and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Educational background in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
