Role overview
This position sits within Woolworths Group in Brentwood, Western Australia and is designed as a stepping stone into retail leadership. The assistant department manager works closely with store teams to keep daily department operations running smoothly while helping deliver a positive shopping experience for customers and a supportive environment for colleagues.
The role is supported through the Store Leadership Pathway, offering opportunities to build practical leadership capability, learn department processes, and develop a strong base for future growth within the business.
Working pattern
The roster shown for this role runs from Monday to Sunday, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Woolworths also notes that a 4-day work week may be available, subject to personal needs and business requirements, and flexibility can be discussed further.
