Role Overview
The Assistant Manager supports the store manager in running daily boutique operations and keeping the business organized, efficient, and aligned with brand procedures. This role is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and is focused on maintaining smooth store functioning, strong team performance, and steady sales results.
Key Duties
- Help manage store staff and support day-to-day team coordination.
- Take care of administrative store tasks, including opening and closing routines.
- Prepare and submit reports for head office.
- Handle merchandise transfers and receiving processes.
- Understand payroll processing and scheduling so operations can continue smoothly when the manager is unavailable.
- Follow all boutique management procedures to help maximize productivity.
Leadership and Team Development
This position requires strong leadership support to help guide the team toward business goals. The Assistant Manager should be able to recognize talent, support recruitment efforts, delegate work effectively, and coach employees so they can develop and perform better alongside the manager.
