About The Role
The Assistant Manager position plays a crucial role within our business service offerings. You will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to cultivate consistent business growth while ensuring robust risk management practices that maintain portfolio quality. This role necessitates active engagement with product specialists to optimise revenue generation.
Location: 23 Albany Highway, Albany, Western Australia 6330
Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies aimed at acquiring new customers to drive business expansion.
- Identify and capitalise on opportunities to enhance customer profitability.
- Use targeted analyses to increase share of customer wallets effectively.
- Collaborate with product partners to promote cross-selling initiatives for both new and existing clients.
- Ensure timely and thorough management of portfolio monitoring and associated duties.
- Commit to personal growth by following through on agreed development plans and performance goals.
- Promote a customer-first approach by working closely with internal stakeholders and product teams.
- Comply strictly with all company policies regarding compliance, risk management, and ethical conduct.
- Adhere to group credit policies and standards for documentation and reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess at least two years of relevant banking experience, complemented by an appropriate tertiary qualification.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of financial analysis, including structuring of security arrangements.
- Exhibit excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Proven ability in delivering superior customer service, including effective relationship building with both internal and external clients.
- Strong negotiation capabilities.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills characterized by confidence, professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
