Role Overview
Ajanta Pharma Ltd is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Data Analytics to support its International Business team. This position calls for a professional with strong analytical thinking, the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, and practical experience in reporting, automation, and turning data into business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and update dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that help teams make better decisions.
- Study business data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations across different functions.
- Take ownership of analytics-driven improvement initiatives and automation efforts to increase efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions based on data.
- Prepare and enhance reports using SQL, Advanced Excel, VBA, and Power BI.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and punctual delivery of business reporting outputs.
- Provide management support through ad hoc analysis and strategic reporting as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a similar field.
- Proven ability to manage teams and work effectively with stakeholders.
- Practical working knowledge of SQL.
- Basic working knowledge of Power BI.
- Strong command of Advanced Excel.
- Experience using VBA.
- Ability to independently run analytics and automation projects from start to finish.
- Good commercial understanding, especially in reporting and insight generation.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical sector will be considered an advantage.
