Job description
Overview
Falls Fabricating, LLC is seeking a dedicated Assembler to join their assembly department at the Little Falls location. This role involves working under the supervision of the Manager and playing a vital part in assembling various equipment and components, maintaining quality standards in accordance with ISO-9001:2015 guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Interpret basic blueprints and shop routing instructions accurately.
- Understand and utilize measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers.
- Handle lifting of materials, occasionally up to 75 pounds and frequently up to 35 pounds.
- Work independently or assist another assembler as directed by management.
- Maintain accurate inventory and manage Kan Ban cards for purchasing when supplies run low.
- Assemble complex equipment including tanks and kit part assemblies, and prepare parts for shipments.
- Pull parts for welding and painting processes.
- Communicate with department leads regarding upcoming assemblies and required parts.
- Organize and maintain assembly areas following 5S principles.
- Manage SMI assembly tasks and create customized assembly bays for specific customers or products (e.g., Satellite & Bosch).
- Operate basic hand tools efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Identify and address nonconforming products and processes.
- Understand and participate in the ISO Quality and Documentation System.
- Take initiative to prevent defects related to product, process, or quality systems.
- Participate in quality audits and plan development as needed.
- Perform all tasks safely in line with established safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Exercise authority to enforce ISO-9001:2015 quality controls and initiate corrective/preventive measures.
- Halt production when processes threaten product quality.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions
- Continuous standing and walking throughout work hours.
- Regular bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
- Lifting and moving materials regularly as part of daily duties.

Work Schedule
Operating hours from Monday to Thursday:
First Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Second Shift: 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM
