Role Overview

As an Artisan and Service Provider for Pickwork based in Nigeria, you will be responsible for delivering practical hands-on services such as repairs, maintenance, installations, or custom craftsmanship aligned to your trade expertise. This full-time, on-location position requires traveling to clients’ places, assessing service requirements, and performing all tasks safely and proficiently. Clear communication with customers is essential for providing cost and time estimates, ensuring all services fulfill quality expectations. Daily duties include managing bookings, maintaining tools and equipment, documenting completed work, and collaborating with the Pickwork team to address any customer issues. You are expected to adhere to company policies, demonstrate professionalism, and foster a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven trade skills or craftsmanship in a certified field such as electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical repairs, cleaning services, or other specialized trades.
• Professional customer interaction skills, including explaining services clearly and managing inquiries or complaints respectfully and solution-oriented.
• High attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to complete assignments accurately within agreed deadlines.
• Basic skills in record-keeping and time management, including monitoring jobs, materials usage, and service results.
• Willingness and reliability to work on-site at diverse locations throughout Nigeria with punctual attendance.
• Prior experience working with service platforms, local businesses, or direct clients is beneficial.
• Relevant vocational qualifications, trade certifications, or apprenticeship training are preferred.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of local Nigerian languages is advantageous.
