Role overview

Capgemini is looking for a Team Manager in graphic design for its MACS INDIA (Marketing & Creative Services) organization in Sion, Maharashtra. MACS INDIA is the group’s shared marketing and communications services team, supporting areas such as marketing, campaign management, social analytics, content development, and creative design across the Capgemini Group.

In this position, you will create polished visual assets and apply strong design thinking, typography, and layout skills to build concepts and deliver outputs for both digital and print channels. The role requires close coordination with stakeholders across business functions, including marketing, product teams, and other departments, so that the final creative work supports broader business goals.

This is also a people leadership role. You will manage a team of 4 to 6 direct reports and help guide day-to-day output, quality, and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Translate briefs into original creative concepts and produce high-quality visual work for print and digital use.
• Run creative briefing discussions with stakeholders and then brief the design team on requirements.
• Supervise a design team of four or more members working across one or more MACS engagements.
• Prepare and share regular utilization reports.
• Assist the stream lead with organizational activities such as hiring and training.
• Work with internal stakeholders to understand their design objectives and delivery needs.
• Handle several design assignments at once while prioritizing work to meet strict deadlines.
• Keep current with design trends, software enhancements, and emerging tools that improve productivity.
• Check that all creative output meets quality expectations and follows design standards and brand guidelines.
• Maintain strong delivery standards as directed by the stream lead.
• Introduce and use newer formats such as infographics, iPDFs, and other digital creative assets.
• Respond quickly and keep execution speed high when deadlines are tight.
• Work collaboratively with other designers and coordinate with teams in marketing, digital, and communications.
• Contribute to project planning, delivery schedules, and resource allocation with the PMO.
• Coach, support, and mentor the team as well as newly joined designers.

Profile required

• More than 10 years of experience in design and branding.
• Background in advertising agencies or branding firms is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Comfortable working on your own and managing workload effectively.
• Solid understanding of art direction and design principles.
• Qualification from a reputed art or design institute, or an equivalent related degree/diploma.
• Exposure to different cultures and cross-cultural working environments.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time under pressure and tight timelines.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other design applications.
