We seek a dedicated professional to oversee multiple Lidl stores, ensuring they operate efficiently while driving strong sales growth. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a district, holding direct line management responsibility for all Store Managers within the area.
• Foster a positive, motivated, and cooperative workplace environment among your teams.
• Support and nurture Store Managers by providing coaching and development opportunities.
• Monitor and optimize stock movement and inventory management.
• Conduct regular district visits alongside the Sales Operations Director.
• Perform periodic cash management audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with projects by analyzing data and providing meaningful feedback.
• Oversee major store events including refurbishments, openings, and re-openings.
• Devise and execute annual business plans tailored to the district’s needs.
• Plan and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and staffing models for all stores in the district.
• Drive the adoption of company-wide strategies within the district.
• Prepare for and actively participate in Area Manager meetings.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Possess or expect to obtain at least a 2.1 degree in any discipline or hold a minimum of three years’ experience in management.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, planning, and analytical capabilities.
• Hold a valid full driving license.
• Exhibit strong leadership traits: organized, flexible, highly motivated, and hardworking.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment is essential.
• Proven record of motivating and effectively leading teams.
• A keen interest in progressing a career within the retail sector.
• Prior experience managing multiple sites as an Area Manager is advantageous.

• Starting salary of €78,000 for Trainee Area Managers
• Salary progression to €89,500, potentially reaching €121,000 within three years
