Analyst, Quality Control

Overview

Located in Tuas, Singapore, the Quality Control Analyst plays a vital role in conducting timely testing and evaluations of in-process and final product samples adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), ensuring accurate data recording and maintaining data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute various testing and analyses efficiently to meet business demands.
• Analyze bulk products, in-process materials, or stability samples using prescribed SOPs and test protocols.
• Document all test outcomes following strict cGMP guidelines.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Participate in method transfer projects and validation procedures.
• Assist in equipment qualification and the technical evaluation of QC instruments, standards, and reagents.
• Perform assay trend evaluations and update documentation as necessary.
• Provide laboratory support including housekeeping, equipment upkeep, inventory management, procurement of supplies, and maintenance of glassware.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Science, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant laboratory experience, preferably within the biotechnology or medical field.
• Solid knowledge of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Empower software.
• Capability to support maintenance and qualification of HPLC instruments.
• Experience with spectroscopy measurements and other analytical techniques such as chromatography (including HPLC), protein concentration determinations (A280 or SoloVPE), and various physicochemical methods.
