Overview
Rockstar is hiring for a firm focused on assisting mid-market companies to convert AI investments into tangible business value by spearheading cultural shifts and adoption. Their clients prioritize AI transformation at the CEO level and the firm supports them throughout the entire process. Clients have demonstrated measurable outcomes validated by board-level scrutiny.
Role Purpose
Mid-market businesses recognize that AI will revolutionize their operations, yet few have designated personnel to drive this change. AI transformation impacts multiple departments but lacks a central owner, causing initiatives to stall and promises to go unfulfilled. This role addresses that gap by leading AI transformation efforts end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all client engagements from strategic planning to execution and delivery of measurable results.
- Act as the primary accountable person for each client relationship.
- Convert executive-level discussions into actionable AI transformation programs aligned with business priorities and KPIs.
- Produce ROI reports suitable for board presentations, linking AI initiatives to business outcomes.
- Identify and secure opportunities to expand existing client engagements and revenues.
- Meet or exceed revenue goals in this quota-bearing position.
- Lead AI steering committee meetings with senior client leadership.
- Ensure alignment of AI strategies with business objectives, clarifying priorities and assigning ownership after every meeting.
- Coordinate multiple workstreams across internal and client teams to maintain accountability.
- Escalate issues appropriately while sustaining strong executive relationships.
- Provide ongoing client insights to improve company products, training, analytics, and transformation playbooks.
Candidate Profile
- 8 to 10 years of experience in strategic account management, consulting, or professional services involving senior client relationship ownership.
- Executive presence with demonstrated ability to establish credibility rapidly with C-level stakeholders.
- Successful track record in a revenue quota role with proven ability to identify and close expansion deals.
- Experience managing complex, multi-team client engagements.
- Strong commercial understanding of client economics, operating models, and strategic goals.
- Proficient in AI through hands-on use and with informed views on AI’s value and limitations.
- Entrepreneurial and capable of thriving in fast-paced startup settings.
- Preferred experience advising clients on AI strategy, readiness, or deployment.
