Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Executive will oversee comprehensive accounting duties including full set accounts management, month-end closing, financial and management reporting. The position also handles everyday financial transactions such as expense tracking and billing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
- Prepare customer account statements monthly and pursue collections on overdue invoices.
- Conduct inter-company transaction reconciliations.
- Oversee fixed asset records and FRS116 documentation and filing.
- Compile audit schedules and perform bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and file GST returns electronically.
- Assist in audit and tax documentation preparation and support.
- Support additional administrative and financial tasks as required.
Requirements
- Possession of an Advanced Diploma, Diploma, or Certificate in Accountancy.
- Prior experience using XERO Accounting Software is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, including functions such as V-lookups.
- Self-driven with strong organizational skills, capable of independently meeting job goals and deadlines.
- Effective team player with good interpersonal skills.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in a comparable role.
