Position Overview
We are actively looking for a full-time Account Supervisor to join our team in New York, NY. At BBH, account management professionals serve as vital business partners, both externally with clients and internally within cross-functional teams. The role demands a profound understanding of the client's business to help foster the right environment where outstanding work can thrive, driving success and growth for both clients and the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships based on consistent high-level delivery and strategic insight into the client’s business.
- Communicate regularly with clients to update on project status and coordinate with team members to address client requests effectively.
- Gain a comprehensive and strategic understanding of clients’ businesses and market environments to align agency outputs with client goals.
- Serve as the primary agency expert on client businesses and marketing teams.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for organic growth within existing client accounts and collaborate with team members to initiate new projects.
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset by seeking new business opportunities in the marketing sector.
- Collaborate closely with strategy and creative teams to deliver the best agency capabilities to clients.
- Ensure projects are adequately staffed by involving appropriate agency members as needed.
- Promote a positive and collaborative team atmosphere across the account and wider agency.
- Lead project management efforts by guiding account managers, coordinating with departments to ensure smooth operations, and intervening to course-correct projects when necessary.
- Work closely with account, finance, operations, and production teams to manage project finances and maintain profitability.
- Act as the central figure during production phases to partner with creative and production teams, ensuring smooth and enjoyable client management.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail to guarantee all campaign elements are delivered punctually, within budget, and meeting the highest creative standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in client service or brand marketing.
- Solution-focused approach with a proactive attitude toward managing upward communications.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong organization skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to foster teamwork and client relationships.
- A keen enthusiasm for creativity and innovation.
