This Account Director role is focused on the Search and Staffing sector, where you will act as a trusted advisor helping clients efficiently utilize our Talent Solutions offerings. Your mission will be to strengthen customer relationships and identify growth opportunities. You will approach sales strategically, aiming to exceed revenue goals while always prioritizing customer success and acting as their advocate within LinkedIn.
Working hours require flexibility to accommodate clients across varied global time zones.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research into clients' businesses and prepare insightful questions ahead of meetings.
- Engage customers with multi-layered, open-ended inquiries to deeply understand their objectives and challenges.
- Develop relationships across multiple stakeholders both vertically and horizontally within client organizations.
- Adapt communication style and content to suit different stakeholder audiences.
- Promote solution-based selling aligned with customer goals rather than just presenting products.
- Maintain integrity in all sales interactions.
- Drive customer decision-making by establishing shared visions and emphasizing value propositions that resonate with all stakeholders.
- Apply commercial insight when planning and negotiating agreements.
- Leverage data and analytics to support investment recommendations and counter customer objections.
- Proactively minimize churn by adopting customer-centric strategies.
- Engage clients continuously to validate value delivery and adjust strategies to maximize return on investment.
- Identify growth opportunities to increase customer value and revenue.
- Incorporate economic, industry, and company considerations into account planning with a customer-focused perspective.
- Map key stakeholders to evaluate relationship strength and strategize account outreach.
- Share joint accountability with colleagues and cross-functional teams to ensure best outcomes for customers.
- Seek assistance from teammates when faced with challenges, demonstrating humility.
- Maintain discipline in territory and account planning, forecasting, and meeting quotas.
- Utilize CRM and sales tools effectively to manage sales and buying processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a pertinent field.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Background in HR software sales.
- Familiarity with SaaS products and Salesforce.com platform.
- Experience selling IT solutions.
- Understanding of software contract terms and ability to negotiate fair agreements.
- Strong negotiation capabilities and accurate sales forecasting.
- Proven track record of managing revenue targets with effective strategic planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and forecasting competencies.
- Success in cultivating and managing high-level business relationships within an advocacy-driven sales environment.
- Ability to utilize data for informed decision-making and persuasion.
- Skilled in assessing business opportunities and understanding prospective customer needs.
- Competent in coordinating business closures with an accurate grasp of buyer requirements.
- Capable of integrating inputs from multiple partners and senior company members, positioning solutions competitively against direct and indirect rivals.
