About the Role

The Workday Functional Consultant specializing in Performance Management will be accountable for the end-to-end design, setup, testing, and sustained support of Workday Performance Management and allied HCM modules. This position involves strong collaboration with HR, Talent Management, and IT teams to enhance performance review workflows, goal tracking, continuous feedback mechanisms, and talent development initiatives within the Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead configuration and ongoing functional support for Workday Performance Management components such as performance reviews, goal management, check-ins, continuous feedback, feedback cycles, talent cards, and review templates including steps and timeline configurations.
  • Configure and manage business processes, security roles, conditional rules, notifications, and dashboard setups within Workday.
  • Take part in or lead initiatives around Workday upgrades, feature rollouts, and process improvements by collaborating with HR and Talent stakeholders to capture requirements and convert them into functional configurations.
  • Conduct testing including unit tests, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure successful deployments and changes.
  • Document configurations, system designs, standard operating procedures, and release notes in detail for clarity and future reference.
  • Develop, refine, and optimize reports and dashboards, including advanced, matrix, and composite types to aid data-driven decision making.
  • Support data integrity efforts and provide relevant insights to HR teams and organizational leadership.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Performance Management and related Workday modules to resolve issues, provide troubleshooting assistance, manage tickets, and support end-users including HR partners and managers through training initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of applicable experience in Workday Functional consulting.
  • At least one implementation project focused on Performance Management within Workday.
  • Must hold valid Workday certifications in Performance and Talent Management.
