About The Filmevent

The Filmevent specializes in combining film production with team-building events where clients act as performers to create their own short films under professional guidance. Their projects range from small teams to large company gatherings across various locations in Germany and Europe. Additionally, they operate a small film studio in Frankfurt focusing on developing and producing new film and entertainment formats.

Role Overview

This part-time position is ideal for students passionate about filmmaking who desire hands-on experience not limited to office-based video editing. The role involves active participation in real productions, contributing to event shoots, leading participants on camera, and ensuring an enjoyable and successful filming experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate cameras during Filmevent productions and events.
  • Edit footage and assist in post-production tasks.
  • Support lighting and sound setup arrangements.
  • Create reels, social media content, and behind-the-scenes clips.
  • Prepare and organize filming schedules and logistics.
  • Maintain and manage film and production equipment.
  • Assist in client coordination and participant guidance during events.
  • Support preparation, planning, and coordination of shoots including location and crew management.
  • Contribute to on-site event operations ensuring a professional yet relaxed client experience.
  • Collaborate in studio productions, including photoshoots and smaller content projects.
  • Help develop and test innovative film and entertainment concepts continuously improving existing experiences.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants, preferably studying film, media, communication design, media production, or related fields, should possess a strong enthusiasm for filmmaking and working with people. Crucial attributes include:

  • Initial experience operating cameras and video production.
  • Proficiency in video editing.
  • An eye for imagery, lighting, and storytelling.
  • Friendly and confident interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
  • Enthusiasm for events and diverse production environments.
  • Willingness to take on responsibilities.
  • Preparedness for occasional travel.
  • Possession of a valid Class B driving license and comfort driving vehicles.

Self-taught filmmakers are welcome; the quality of your work matters more than formal credentials.
