Role Overview
As Empirical360 expands, it is seeking a skilled DaVinci Resolve Video Editor with 2-3 years of experience producing engaging long and short form social media videos. This salaried role offers bonus opportunities linked to both personal and company performance against KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform long-form videos into engaging YouTube content by integrating stock footage, graphic animations, subtitles, and lower thirds.
- Adapt long videos into short clips utilizing Alex Hormozi’s content strategy: Hook, Retain, Reward, to optimize audience engagement.
- Polish final videos ensuring consistency with brand style and messaging.
- Employ creative storytelling to enhance viewer retention and interaction.
- Work collaboratively with the team to improve content based on feedback and performance data.
Requirements for Success
- Ability to adapt editing style uniquely for each client.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience editing with DaVinci Resolve.
- Experience with long-form YouTube video editing.
- Openness to experimenting with innovative creative techniques.
- Reliable Ethernet internet connection.
- Strong team collaboration skills, even in a remote work setup.
Additional Details
- Reporting to the Video Director.
- Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM EST.
- Availability for monthly in-person meet-ups, team lunches, and training sessions is required.
