Vice President Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Operations with over 20 years of expertise to join our team in Gurugram, Haryana. This role involves leading strategic operational initiatives within the capital markets and banking domain, enhancing enterprise efficiency, and supporting a major Canadian banking client.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing operational workflows and boosting efficiency across the organization.
• Utilize advanced data analytics to identify performance patterns and guide impactful decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior leaders across departments to synchronize operational improvements with broader business objectives.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators to ensure sustained operational success.
• Design and drive comprehensive training programs to promote best practices and enhance operational capabilities.
• Foster a culture committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout all organizational tiers.
• Manage evolving scopes including expansion of workstreams over time, adapting to dynamic business needs.
• Oversee large-scale teams exceeding 1,500 members, with expectations for further growth.
• Lead cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams across India and the Philippines, ensuring cohesive operations.
• Handle diverse domain exposure including Finance & Accounting, Commercial Leasing, Contact Centers, Trade Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Record to Report (RTR), and Data & Analytics.
• Maintain strong stakeholder engagement underpinned by cross-cultural awareness.
• Demonstrate flexibility and readiness for travel as needed to support operational priorities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in capital markets and banking operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance or advanced degrees such as MBA or Master’s in Business Analytics.
