Role Overview
The Vice President Operations is a fully remote, full-time role responsible for managing daily operations across the distressed loan servicing platform. This position oversees the entire operational spectrum, ensuring process efficiency, high-quality service, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The VP will lead cross-functional and distributed teams, streamline workflows, and spearhead continuous improvement efforts aligned with the company's strategic goals. Key duties include tracking performance metrics, collaborating with technology and analytics departments, supporting investor reporting, and engaging with senior leadership on strategic and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operations for distressed loan portfolios, ensuring operational efficiency and quality service delivery.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including managing remote staff effectively.
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvements aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with technology and analytics teams to enhance reporting and operational processes.
- Support investor relations by delivering accurate and timely reports and managing client service standards.
- Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Contribute to scaling operations within a fast-growing startup setting.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in operations management, including oversight of comprehensive processes and service execution.
- Experience with P&L management and strong financial understanding to drive business outcomes and cost efficiency.
- Skilled in strategic planning and project management to propel organizational growth initiatives.
- Customer service focus with demonstrated ability to maintain investor and client relationships.
- Background in loan servicing, distressed asset management, or financial services operations is highly advantageous.
- Experience leading dispersed teams remotely with excellent communication and decision-making capabilities.
- Comfortable with data-driven environments, utilizing analytics and reporting tools to enhance processes.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are considered beneficial.
