Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and bring new vendors onboard effectively.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities and qualify suppliers accordingly.
• Drive cost reduction by enhancing supplier development and negotiating favorable terms.
• Liaise with Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to support supplier development initiatives.
• Track and analyze supplier performance metrics including Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service.
• Assist in efforts toward localization and alternative source development.
• Conduct audits of suppliers and implement necessary corrective measures.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reporting related to vendor development activities.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering fields.
• Experience relevant to Vendor Development, Supplier Development, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality assurance systems, and supplier management practices.
• Strong abilities in negotiation, communication, and data analysis.
