Transcription Specialist – Australian English | $25/hr Remote

Position Overview

We are seeking a Contract-based Australian English Language Expert to join our team remotely. The role involves reviewing and refining machine-generated English transcripts, recording clear Australian English audio, and improving AI language data with authentic Australian expressions.

Key Responsibilities

• Carefully review and correct errors in automated English transcriptions to uphold high linguistic quality.
• Record yourself reading transcribed content using a natural and clear Australian English accent.
• Assess and enhance AI language datasets to better represent actual Australian English usage and idioms.
• Work closely with the client’s team by providing valuable feedback on transcription processes and audio standards.
• Maintain strict attention to detail when auditing text and audio for discrepancies or mistakes.

Required Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Australian English, including both spoken and written forms.
• Strong understanding of Australian English phonetics, pronunciation, and enunciation.
• Experience with transcript correction, able to identify and fix transcription errors efficiently.
• Clear and confident vocal delivery when recording audio passages.
• Ability to work independently in a quiet, interruption-free environment.
