Role Overview

The Technology Operations Analyst II will take a leading role in procuring IT-related materials and services, including software, hardware, and technology services. This position involves end-to-end procurement management, vendor relations, and continuous improvement of operational processes. The role collaborates closely with IT, Finance, and business units to ensure procurement activities are effective, cost-efficient, and in full compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead procurement processes for IT-related software, hardware, and services aligned with business needs.
• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle: intake, sourcing support, contracts, purchasing, and renewals.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to guarantee timely fulfillment of procurement requests.
• Maintain comprehensive procurement records, contracts, and supplier data.
• Make procurement decisions balancing cost, quality, service, delivery, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with IT to understand software portfolios, licensing models, and technical requirements.
• Manage software lifecycle including renewals, maintenance tracking, and license optimization.
• Ensure suppliers meet technical requirements and assist in vendor evaluations considering scalability, cost, and capabilities.
• Support vendor onboarding, relationship management, and resolution of issues.
• Monitor vendor performance relative to SLAs, contracts, and service standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, vendor consolidation, and procurement optimization.
• Conduct market analysis on industry trends, pricing benchmarks, and supplier performance.
• Prepare analytic reports detailing market trends, cost drivers, renewal risks, and sourcing strategies.
• Assist with strategic sourcing initiatives and negotiation preparations.
• Drive improvements in procurement workflows through automation, standardization, and documentation.
• Contribute to broader procurement transformation and reporting enhancement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, IT procurement, or vendor management, with a preference for technology procurement including software, SaaS, and hardware.
• Possession of or eligibility for a valid driver's license compliant with Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
• Certifications such as CPSM, APICS/ASCM, ITAM, or other procurement-related credentials are advantageous.
