Technical Analyst

Overview

The Technical Analyst will focus on evaluating technical and operational data pertaining to bus services to enhance their safety, efficiency, and dependability. The role involves detailed technical studies, assisting in troubleshooting tasks, and ensuring adherence to Mowasalat's quality frameworks, OEM instructions, and regulatory standards.

Key Duties

• Conduct in-depth technical assessments of bus operations by analyzing maintenance logs, operational data, telematics outputs, and customer insights.
• Detect patterns, repeated faults, performance inefficiencies, and potential areas for enhancement.
• Build and update predictive models, simulations, and analytical tools to inform decision-making processes based on data.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems through thorough root cause analyses and recommend corrective strategies to elevate operational reliability.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation detailing findings, trends, risks, and suggestions for improvement, ensuring records are meticulously maintained and audit-compliant.
• Create technical manuals and guidelines consistent with Mowasalat's operational standards.
• Offer expert technical assistance to internal units including drivers, maintenance crews, and service centers, ensuring clear communication tailored to varied audiences.
• Engage with external collaborators as designated by management to facilitate analysis and problem resolution.
• Investigate emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to vehicle operations and maintenance; participate in professional development activities such as workshops and conferences.
• Lead initiatives that streamline processes, elevate efficiency, minimize risks, and support sustainable fleet management objectives.
• Develop educational materials and conduct training sessions to improve the technical capabilities across teams.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a closely related discipline.
• At least three years of professional experience in technical analysis or a similar domain, including minimum one year in analytical or problem-solving roles.
• Preferred certifications include Certified Technical Analyst, Data Analysis Certification, Technical Writing Training, and other pertinent industry qualifications.
• Competencies include technical and data analysis, problem-solving, root cause investigation, understanding mechanical and electrical systems, proficiency with data tools, effective communication, stakeholder collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
