Job Overview
We seek a skilled Systems Administrator located in Canada to support and enhance essential technology platforms within a modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) setup. The role focuses on maintaining Windows Middleware systems crucial to both development and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Middleware environments within an Infrastructure as Code context.
- Manage and optimize scripts, deployment pipelines, and operational workflows to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Conduct installations, updates, and routine maintenance on user and server systems.
- Support the deployment and integration of technology solutions and infrastructure enhancements.
- Create and update technical documentation, standards, and best practice guidelines.
- Identify optimization opportunities and evaluate impacts of technological changes.
- Diagnose system incidents, determine root causes, and apply corrective measures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in technology operations and processes.
- Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams to deliver stable and scalable infrastructure services.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least six years of proven experience in Systems Administration or related infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Middleware and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple complex priorities effectively.
