Supply Technician (OA) NF-03

Position Overview

This role entails assisting in the management and accountability of assigned government property, performing extensive supply clerical duties including requisitioning, receiving, storing, issuing, and transferring property items. The role demands adherence to established procedures for maintaining property transaction records and participating actively in inventory audits to uphold property accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Support coordination of all supply requirements for serviced activities, including GSA Supply and Stock Fund, and maintain necessary liaisons with agencies such as the Defense Contracting Command.
• Regularly handle the movement of furniture and equipment, including using lifting and moving devices, and engage in some heavy lifting independently.
• Utilize automated data processing systems to streamline supply and acquisition processes, ensuring the prevention and reduction of fraud, waste, and abuse.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must provide Direct Deposit details and Social Security Card.
• Fulfill all specified qualification, eligibility, and background requirements.
• Potentially complete a one-year probationary period.
• Available and willing to work during evenings, weekends, and special MWR events.
• Occasional driving duties necessitate obtaining and maintaining a valid USAREUR driver's license and TMP license.
• Meet health screening standards due to lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs; immunizations may be mandatory to ensure workplace safety.
• Operate dollies or hand trucks for moving furniture and equipment.
• Capability to operate forklifts up to 5.5 tons and manual transmission trucks of 7.49 tons with trailers.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a class 2 driver's license.

Strong analytical, research, and oral communication skills are essential.

Highly preferred candidates will possess at least one year of experience handling NAF or APF property controls, including managing hand receipts and conducting property disposals through authorized channels. • No formal educational qualifications are required for this position.
• The geographic scope of applicants includes all current APF (GS) or NAF employees within IMCOM-Europe, former NAF employees, military family members residing in Europe, or involuntarily separated military personnel.
