Supply Chain Specialist

Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing logistical support essential for the Royal Air Force's operational and peacetime missions. Your responsibilities will include managing the distribution, stock control, and data analysis for a wide range of materials, including aircraft components, fuels, ammunition, explosives, and other critical supplies necessary to sustain advanced military aircraft and support modern air operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive logistical support for RAF aircraft and vehicles globally.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of fuels and lubricants, from pipeline receipt to aircraft refuelling operations.
• Collaborate within warehouse and storage teams, which may involve handling sensitive, classified, explosive, or secret RAF items.
• Travel internationally to provide operational support in demanding environments, ensuring the upkeep of RAF assets and proper management of equipment in the UK supply chain.

Requirements

• No formal educational qualifications are necessary for this role.
• Candidates must be aged between 16 and 47 years (must confirm commitment before turning 48).
• Applicants must satisfy specific Nationality and Residency prerequisites as outlined in the official entry criteria.
• Commit to at least three years of service following completion of specialized training.
• Successfully pass the Defence Aptitude Assessment.
• Meet the required physical fitness standards through a fitness test.
