Supply Chain Manager

Overview

This role requires a seasoned and strategic Supply Chain Manager responsible for leading and optimizing comprehensive supply chain operations. The person will manage procurement, inventory, logistics, demand planning, supplier performance, and distribution to drive operational effectiveness and maintain business continuity. Collaboration with departments including procurement, warehouse, logistics, finance, operations, production, and executive leadership is essential for creating scalable strategies that foster growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement supply chain strategies to boost efficiency, enhance service quality, and reduce costs.
• Supervise procurement, inventory scheduling, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and supplier relations.
• Oversee demand forecasting, optimize inventory, plan replenishment, and ensure stock availability throughout the supply chain.
• Establish and nurture positive partnerships with suppliers, logistics providers, and key business collaborators.
• Track supply chain metrics through KPIs and drive ongoing process improvements.
• Recognize supply chain risks and prepare contingency measures to uphold uninterrupted operations.
• Coordinate with finance, operations, production, sales, and customer teams to align supply chain efforts with business targets.
• Enhance warehouse efficiency, transportation systems, and distribution workflows to increase productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Lead contract negotiations, evaluate suppliers, and manage vendor performance programs.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulatory standards, quality controls, and workplace safety protocols.
• Generate operational reports, performance dashboards, budgeting documents, and strategic advice for senior leadership.

Candidate Requirements

• In-depth expertise in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand planning.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, supply chain management tools, warehouse and transportation management systems, plus Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation capabilities, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Analytical aptitude to interpret operational data and support strategic decision-making.
• Experience handling supplier relationships, contract discussions, and coordinated supply chain initiatives.
• Understanding of inventory management, forecasting techniques, transportation logistics, and warehouse operations.
