Stylist & Content Creator

Role Overview

Bared Footwear is seeking a Stylist & Content Creator to serve as a prominent, trusted style expert representing the brand through social media, live shopping events, and digital content. The individual will regularly appear on camera, delivering insightful and approachable guidance on how to style and wear Bared shoes. The role is designed to balance fashion-forward editorial expertise with practical styling advice for everyday use.

Key Responsibilities

• Become a visible, authoritative face of styling for Bared, integrating fashion expertise with relatable presentation.
• Create fashion and style-driven content that feels aspirational yet accessible.
• Develop the brand's footwear styling content in innovative ways that reflect premium Australian standards.
• Independently source, style, plan, and film content driven by vision and initiative.
• Regularly produce short-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, live shopping, EDM, and paid social channels, sharing styling advice with warmth and expertise.
• Generate educational, trend-conscious content that instructs customers on building outfits featuring Bared shoes across various seasons, occasions, and lifestyles.
• Host live shopping sessions, sharing expertise and engaging conversationally about shoe styling and features.
• Edit content end-to-end using tools such as CapCut and in-app video editors for Reels and TikTok.
• Organize and lead filming days including conceptualizing stories, coordinating logistics, and executing confidently.
• Lead styling for Instagram shoots, social campaigns, staff styling, flat lays, and everyday brand styling efforts.
• Source clothing, accessories, and props independently, showcasing a clear editorial vision and resourcefulness.
• Build cohesive outfit narratives placing the Bared shoe as the focal point, emphasizing fashion-forward and wearable looks.
• Prepare talent on set by steaming, dressing, and styling during filming or collaborations.
• Maintain a consistent styling aesthetic aligned with Bared’s trend-aware, quality-driven, and editorially elevated everyday brand identity.
• Stay informed on global fashion trends, cultural moments, and emerging styling conversations, reporting to the Head of Creative.
• Collaborate with Social and Content teams on content planning and seasonal campaigns.
• Introduce fresh, innovative ideas melding fashion authority with practical dressing insights.

About You

• Minimum of three years experience in content creation and styling, either in-house at contemporary or premium brands, agencies, or as a creator with a strong style portfolio.
• Portfolio (showreel) including on-camera short-form appearance examples (6–12 across TikTok, Reels, or similar) and styled outfits or lookbooks demonstrating your eye for fashion.
• Recognized fashion and style authority with thorough understanding of trends, proportion, color, texture, and their harmonious application, capable of articulating reasons behind styling decisions.
• Warm and charismatic on camera, making fashion accessible and relatable.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and visionary; capable of independently sourcing samples, conceptualizing content, planning shoots, and contributing original ideas without needing direction.
• Experience with footwear and accessory styling, adept at making shoes the centerpiece of outfits.
• A refined, modern personal style consistent with Bared’s aesthetic—contemporary, considered, elevated, textured, and editorial.
• Proficient with video editing tools such as CapCut and in-app editors for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Commercially aware, understanding styling as a tool to drive sales by boosting customer confidence and desire.
• Highly organized on set, collaborative across teams, and efficient at managing multiple content streams simultaneously.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with live shopping or live-stream styling formats.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in fashion, styling, communications, journalism, or visual arts.
• Background in retail or showroom environments providing elevated styling services to customers.
