Key Responsibilities

The role involves collaborating closely with production, engineering, logistics, and operations teams to develop sourcing strategies aligned with business goals. You will manage supplier negotiations and spearhead initiatives to enhance supplier performance and procurement efficiency.

• Lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, favorable contracts, and sustainable commercial agreements.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to enhance supplier performance, availability, and supply chain stability.
• Establish and nurture supplier relationships via regular evaluations, collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinate with engineering, logistics, production, and operations departments to ensure sourcing aligns with business needs.
• Manage various sourcing projects, including onboarding suppliers, fostering supplier development, and addressing underperforming suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and generate measurable value through procurement activities.
• Assume responsibility for supplier-related decisions and contribute to strategic procurement planning.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should possess procurement expertise, exceptional commercial judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams. They must be confident in managing negotiations, assessing business needs, and independently driving supplier initiatives.

• Minimum of 3 years in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or related commercial roles with hands-on contract negotiation experience.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, sourcing methodologies, and commercial agreements.
• Skilled in cost analysis, evaluating supplier performance, and negotiating solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of working with varying levels of seniority and functions.
• Self-driven with strong prioritization and ownership of procurement decisions.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Proactive attitude focused on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and delivering tangible results.
